We held “A Remarkable Event”, the first in our series of quarterly breakfasts, at Exhibit Resources this morning. Attendees were able to mingle in our showroom with our team while enjoying a light breakfast before our featured speaker, John Lowe, presented engaging tips on how to increase your Tradeshow ROI. He discussed the benefits of having a show schedule, pre-show planning, booth design, securing a speaker slot and hosting events in a hospitality suite. He stressed the importance of understanding how prospects use their “old brain” (the side that asks “why”) to make buying decisions when planning for a show or presentation.

“We as marketers tend to focus on the new brain and focus only on the facts and features. What we really need to do is attract the old brain in order to ignite the ‘why’ so others will listen and respond to our messages,” said Lowe.

John walked attendees through how to engage the “old brain” throughout the cycle of planning, promoting and attending a show. He also stressed the importance of sales and marketing clearly communicating goals of the show between departments for greater success.

“John’s presentation really engaged the audience, and he offered some wonderful takeaways to help companies achieve more success at tradeshows,” said Lana Calloway, CEO of Exhibit Resources. “I am pleased that Exhibit Resources can present this type of knowledge and insight into the industry to really benefit our customers. This was a great start to our quarterly speaker series!”
