We held “A Remarkable Event”, the first in our series of quarterly breakfasts, at Exhibit Resources this morning. Attendees were able to mingle in our showroom with our team while enjoying a light breakfast before our featured speaker, John Lowe, presented engaging tips on how to increase your Tradeshow ROI. He discussed the benefits of having a show schedule, pre-show planning, booth design, securing a speaker slot and hosting events in a hospitality suite. He stressed the importance of understanding how prospects use their “old brain” (the side that asks “why”) to make buying decisions when planning for a show or presentation.
“We as marketers tend to focus on the new brain and focus only on the facts and features. What we really need to do is attract the old brain in order to ignite the ‘why’ so others will listen and respond to our messages,” said Lowe.
John walked attendees through how to engage the “old brain” throughout the cycle of planning, promoting and attending a show. He also stressed the importance of sales and marketing clearly communicating goals of the show between departments for greater success.
“John’s presentation really engaged the audience, and he offered some wonderful takeaways to help companies achieve more success at tradeshows,” said Lana Calloway, CEO of Exhibit Resources. “I am pleased that Exhibit Resources can present this type of knowledge and insight into the industry to really benefit our customers. This was a great start to our quarterly speaker series!”

Exhibit Resources Announces Solar Panel Installation
Exhibit Resources will provide solar and renewable energy as the host site of a rooftop photovoltaic system.
Lana Calloway, CEO of Exhibit Resources, a full-service exhibit design and production agency, announced the company’s solar panel installation process is underway. Exhibit Resources is working with Argand Energy Solutions to create the opportunity for quality renewable energy solutions. Installation began on Wednesday, April 17.
The photovoltaic (PV) system will be mounted on the roof of Exhibit Resources to produce approximately 598,300 kWh of AC power and eliminate 930,600 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions per year. The electricity generated by the panels will be metered and supplied to the grid through Duke Energy’s distribution system through 2028 and beyond. After twenty years, Exhibit Resources will have the option of full ownership and use of the PV system to power their building.
“While attending a B Corp meeting, my interest was peaked as we discussed the benefits and paybacks of solar power,” said Calloway. “We perceive the solar panels as a positive return on our investment, as well as a reflection of Exhibit Resources commitment to sustainability.”
Argand’s VP of Sales, Rob Lease commented, “Exhibit Resources’ building infrastructure and roof orientation provided for an ideal host site. They have shown a strong commitment toward creating jobs and environmental stewardship by participating in our efforts to develop commercial solar energy installations in North Carolina. The combination of a well suited host site and high interest in renewable energy resulted in a rewarding partnership.”
